Welcome. I'm Zak. For many years, I've been creating as a designer, engineer, producer, and thinker. Here you can find some of my projects.
mittnetworkmusic is my music and artwork project I've been working on since 2009, when I first installed some modular synthesizers on my Linux computer. I release music and artwork under different names: more than 250 full-length albums of original sound and design across experimental electronic music, ambient, downtempo beats, techno, house, drum and bass, noise, and lo-fi.
I handle melody, rhythm, audio engineering, and graphic design myself, using both digital and hardware instruments. The public licensing unit is the track, so the catalog is organized to help people search, preview, and contact me directly about rights.
Hyperfocus is where I write and publish philosophical books. I don't do fiction; I write in the classic general-philosophy aphorisms style about everything. I don't use AI for the books — everything in them is genuine original thought and writing.
I started writing around 2017-2019 to share my thoughts and experience; for many years I had been studying and reading serious classic philosophy, especially major Western and ancient thinkers. However, I am not interested in anything related to Hegel and other overcomplexity — for example, some of the French thinkers. I prefer more grounded approaches, such as Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, and Popper.
LogicAndSound: Other Projects is temporarily unavailable and under construction.
Optmay's Perfect Sleep, Noism, WavePatcher, and the Radroid apps are tools I originally made for myself and have used regularly for a long time. Public releases are currently planned for August or September 2026. If interested, subscribe for updates.
